I had used an earlier version of Titan with no problems - now I've reinstalled it, using the current version that's posted, and it doesn't recognize my login "unknown", and further, won't let me register even as a new user "can't create user"...

Regarding not letting you register a new user: are you working from the same location as before? Also, has this issue resolved itself since you posted (i.e. could be network issues)?

Same exact problem. Have been using previous version with no problems. In fact just logged in and everything went fine. Once the "automatic update" did it's thing (and dumped me out) I can no longer log in *or* re-register. System shows no record of my account\email\history. How do I "get back in" to use the software?

Hi,

I had a offline conversation with the person that originally logged this post and we determined some issues he had with Vista on this current version. Are you using Vista?

Hi,

Using Win XP Pro.

Tried the recently released Titan 2009 (somewhat confused re: the nomenclature... different emails seemed to refer to it as 2008 as well as 2009) and made sure to delete all remnants of 2008 and now starting to get mixed results... sometimes I can log in (automatically at boot up) but then later on it'll shut down and won't let me log back, doesnt have any record of my ID (won't send password) and won't let me re-register.

Frustrating because I'd like to demo the software to a group of colleagues next week (but won't even try if it's not a whole lot more stable).

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for your patience and taking the time to detail issues you're having. I can identify one for you: the mail server supporting 'Forgot Password' or 'Change Password' is being worked on right now and should be good to go hopefully by day's end.

Not letting you log in with an existing name and password is a different matter. Is your username on TITAN jmickelct?

Hi again,

Could you do a check to make sure that you were properly updated by the auto-update, and that you're running the latest version? If you cannot login at all please let me know this too..

In the GeoIM, under the Services tab, do you see a category for EAIM? (after WMS, WCS, ECWP...there should be a parent folder named EAIM).

Also under the GeoIM, select Help->About ERDAS TITAN and see that your current version is 9.3 (and not 2.0.x)

Hi,

If you are still having trouble with you TITAN client, you can try deleting this directory to reset your TITAN configuration:

C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Application Data\Leica Geosystems


The "Forgot Password" recovery mechanism should now be working properly if you need to reset your password.
