TITAN suddenly shuts down and reconnects automatically, every 5 minutes on the average. This is happening since 7-10 days. It was performing fine before, even with the candidate release. I have installed the new release today and the problem persists. |

Hi Mzotti, do you have any anti-virus or security software suits running? The same happens on all of our systems. But only if the Kaspersky Internet security is active! Cheers Fritz |

Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem as mzotti (hi, Maurizio ). I tried to work without firewalls (even windows' one) but the issue still persists... It is a bug or what? There are other people experiencing this? Cheers, Pietro |

Posted By azeller on 04/11/2008 9:38 AM Hi Pietro, Thanks for reporting this. Are you running TITAN on systems with Kaspersky Internet Security as well? Thanks Amy Not at all... as I told in my previous post I tried to run TITAN on three different machines (two with WinXP and one with Vista) without firewalls. So, where may the problem be?? Best regards |

It's possible, but the only reports of it we've heard of (so far) are from Fritz and Mzotti, both running Kapersky Internet Security. Fritz isolated it further to a particular firewall component of Kapersky called AntiHacker which, when disabled, allows TITAN to run without issue. But you've acknowledged that your firewall is not enabled and you are not wireless (to note, we have only encountered a couple of issues on wireless as well). Would you provide us with more detail about your network? And thanks for your patience while we diagnose! Thanks Amy |

If you are running on a LAN with an HTTP proxy, that could explain the problem. We currently don't support connections through a proxy. The wireless may be an issue if the connectivity isn't constant. I have seen wireless work well for some but others have had some issues. |

Yes, I'm behind a proxy at office. The wireless at home indeed has a router, so maybe the problem is similar. Well, let's hope the next release of TITAN could fix the problem. Best regards, Pietro |

| The problem is most likely the proxy server. We don’t support using TITAN through an http proxy currently. |
