I'm fairly new to WMS web services. I have found one WMS http://www2.demis.nl/mapserver/request.asp
I load it into the instant messenger without a problem. I've beent trying to load the layers into TITAN Viewer and the layers just don't appear correct. I'm using the WMS Viewer Client http://its.demo.galdosinc.com/wms/viewer/ and it looks correct here.
I've also tried it in GeoMedia and don't get any image at all. I assume since it appears correct in the WMS Viewer, that it works correctly. Not sure why I'm getting such weird results in both GeoMedia and TITAN.
Thoughts?

Dear All
I've the same issue/problem...
WMS Services are not displayed correctly. I tried to load data by the mean of the following getCapabilities link: http://www.sogis1.so.ch/cgi-bin/sogis/sogis_ortho.wms?service=wms&request=getcapabilities&version=1.1.1
but instead of aerial imagery I see a huge white square.

Hi M,
I am not having any luck with this server. I bring it into uDig and nothing comes in, it as blank as well. Please check with the provider regarding how they provide WMS.

Hi Jeff,
The issue you are referring to - with the Demis World Map service - is a general problem that we have when we try to overlay a large image onto the terrain. This should be fixed as part of enhancements for August, since we will modify the way in which overlays are done.
