I know that Titan is based on p2p concept, but it will be useful if the Titan Geohub can store, also optionally, all the data shared from the users. At the moment all the data are stored only locally, but if it's possible to copy services, for data there isn't possibility to retreive data if the user is offline... In some contests this can be an heavy limitation... Thanks, Mauro |

Mauro, We have been considering the concept of persisting data for users that are offline, but currently we do not have features planned to support this. Today TITAN is a network of *online* users. Although the ERDAS TITAN user’s experience *today* resembles a P2P network experience (sharing, discovering, accessing data within a network of users), by definition it currently is not. In TITAN, clients rely on a proxy server – an ERDAS TITAN GeoHub - as a middleman for all communication, indexing, access and data streaming. In a P2P network clients interact directly with one another in some fashion, for activities like communication, data access and download. Plans for TITAN in 2009 include enabling optional download capabilities and also P2P sharing for GeoHubs. Hope this helps, Amy |
