I've just dragged an ECW file with geo meta data onto TITAN and expected it to be auto-placed...
Okay, I know Leica have only just acquired ERM. And also there's a need for a conversion between local Easting/Northing and Longitude/Latitude...

Andrew,
I tested this with ECW data and i got it to work. We support GDAL and are using that library to read the ECW data. I'm interested to know why it doesnt work?

Mladen, it's because it has a local projection (ITM) rather than UTM. So I guess the real request here is for the ability to add our own Projections or allow us to write plug in's to convert between a local projection and UTM.
Nice to see you using GDAL. That means that you are also using ER SDK... |
